Admissions Requirements Grades 1-10

Admissions Testing

Grade 1 – Students must be six years old by September 30th.

There is limited seating for several grades. The testing dates for priority admission are as follows:

  • Grades 1-5 the week of February 28 - March 3
  • Grades 6+ the week of March 6 - March 11

After March 13, students will be assessed after submitting completed application. Accepted students will be on a wait list once a grade is full.

All Grades 1-10 students seeking admission to Vision International School will be evaluated before they are admitted. Parents will be notified of the date, time and venue for testing. The purpose of this evaluation is to obtain an accurate picture of the student’s academic skills and to screen for any learning disabilities.

After all of the necessary documents have been received by the school and availability has been determined either for immediate admission or for entrance to the Wait Pool, an entry testing appointment will be scheduled. While diagnostic testing is not done as a standard admissions procedure, it may be requested by the school if our standard screening tests indicate significant academic difficulties.
