Basic Requirements to Join VIS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Valid teaching certification (for teaching roles)
  • Recent experience in a K–12 American-curriculum international school
  • Experience planning, teaching, and assessing within a Common Core–aligned framework
  • Native-level English proficiency required for Homeroom teachers and Middle School / High School English subject teachers
  • Candidates without dependents are preferred to support international placement logistics

About Vision International School

VIS is an American-curriculum international school with a separate-gender structure from Grade 1 onward. We seek educators and staff who are committed to high standards of teaching and learning, instructional consistency, and student growth within a Common Core–aligned program.

Teaching Positions :

  • Male Teachers: Can teach boys from Grade 3 and above
  • Female Teachers: Can teach both boys and girls at all grade levels
  • Classroom Teachers: Must be native English speakers or demonstrate fluency in English. Local hires meeting this criterion will also be considered
  • Subject Teachers: Must hold a teaching degree specialized in the subject they will be teaching. Candidates must be native English speakers or demonstrate fluency in English. Local hires meeting this criterion will also be considered.
  • Teaching Assistants: Must hold a teaching degree. English fluency required; Arabic fluency highly desired
  • Arabic Language Teachers: Must be able to converse in English
  • Non-Teaching Positions: Requirements vary by position. English fluency required; Arabic fluency highly desired
