Maha AbdelMoneim Admissions Officer
Maha studied Commerce, Business Administration Concentration at Cairo University in Egypt.
After receiving her qualifications, she worked as Sales Administration & Logistics Executive, where her clients included the Egyptian army, governmental banking sector and other governmental institutions.
Maha has over 6 years experience in Admissions. Before joining VIS she worked as the Admissions Coordinator at Maadi Narmer School in Egypt, and has also held positions in other international organizations and schools throughout her career in Cairo, Dubai. She has been in her current position as Admissions Officer at VIS since September 2014, where she is also responsible for the school’s Student Information System. Her passion for numbers is evident in her ongoing work with this system , for which she attended further training in June 2016 in New Orleans, USA.
Maha was born and raised in Egypt, and has 2 children, both of whom attend VIS.
Samira Hamdy Registrar
Samira joined our team in April 2014. She is originally from Egypt and holds a BA from the Faculty of Agriculture. She speaks both Arabic and English.
Samira truly enjoys working with the international community at VIS. She is the main contact at VIS for all communication between the school and the Ministry of Education (MOE), ensuring all MOE information is passed to the administration and teaching teams as required. She is also responsible for maintaining the school’s content in the MOE Pre-Enrollment System.
She is also the school’s Registrar, whose work includes welcoming parents interested in VIS, dealing with admissions inquiries, organizing assessments, and processing admissions-related documentation. Samira also translates many of our documents from English into Arabic.
Samira lives in Wakra with her two daughters who are also VIS students.

We would be happy to arrange a private tour for you and your family by appointment. Please contact us either by phone or email to arrange a mutually suitable time. You are welcome to drop by the campus at any time to meet with one of our team, however, we can not guarantee that a tour will be possible at that time.
