For future reference and for more details, our open teaching and administrative positions are listed on International Schools Services and Search Associates’ websites.   Generally, we hire utilizing a variety of methods including Skype interviews and at recruiting fairs happening around the world.  We are continually reviewing resumes/CVs and do initiate contact with those candidates who appear to be the best fit for available positions.

United States, Canadian and other native English-speaking candidates are preferred. 

The minimum teaching requirements for VIS faculty are:

  • Teacher Certification
  • Recent teaching experience in a K-12 US or Canadian curriculum school, or an American international school curriculum
  • Minimum of a BA Degree

Preference is given to those applicants who are single hires with no dependents.
